Full course description
The Utah State Board of Education requires district employees who work with student data to complete yearly training on student data privacy and security. The USBE has created an in-depth training on data privacy and security consisting of thirteen videos. The material presented in those videos has been condensed and summarized on the slides provided in this training. The full videos are also included, as an option for those who would like to review them. This training covers both the federal and state laws governing student data privacy, as well as information on data security.
